Last week I had the pleasure of chatting with Peg Keyser, the founder of Hard-Boiled Hens, from her home in Maine. She has created a line of chicken-themed calendars and greeting cards and was recently featured on WCSH-TV out of Portland, as well as in the Bangor Daily News and the New York Daily News talking about how the acquisition of a few chickens several years ago turned her from a newscaster into a chicken photographer and entrepreneur.
